Programs
DANCENASTICS (Girls ages 3-12)Dancenastics is for girls who have the desire to dance and learn gymnastics in a safe and non-competitive environment. Beginners as well as those who have dance and/or gymnastics training will discover their creative side. In Dancenastics a variety of dance styles, with focus on performance dance, will be incorporated into gymnastic routines that the girls will perform for their parents approximately every 6-8 weeks. Lorissa Ridley-Fink, Professional Dancer/Choreographer, founder of CATTS in 1990, founder and CEO of K.O. and gymnastics coach of 25+ years, created Dancenastics in 1985. Students will increase their floor gymnastics tumbling skills (see below) as well as increase their flexibility. Dancenastics encourages teamwork and confidence. The students receive personal attention from the K.O. Trainers. The ratio of students to trainers is 5:1 allowing them to learn quickly, correctly, and safely. Lorissa "Coach L" began dancing in 1971 and has been choreographing since 1976. Her choreography has included such arenas as Kansas, Arizona and Texas drill teams, pageants, and competetive gymnastics teams, as well as her own including winning CMT Dance Comp, Kansas Dance Camp, NBA Jam Fest and Phoenix Suns Performances.
Equipment needed for course: Leotard or tight t-shirt, shorts or exercise pants No baggy T's, jeans, jean shorts or skorts Students will be in bare feet Hair must be pulled up and out of face Water bottle (K.O. sport bottles available $3)

Skills: Students will work at their own level. K.O. does not do "Level 1, 2, etc." We are not a competitive gymnastics gym. Floor tumbling skills will be taught to each individual student. No student will be held back. Skills taught ages 3 and up: Forward and Backward Rolls, Handstands, Cartwheels, 1-Hand Cartwheels, Running Cartwheels, Round-Offs, Bridges-Ups, Kickovers, Backbends, Front Limbers, Back Walkovers, Back Handsprings, Front Handsprings, Arial Cartwheels, Back Tucks, Round-Off BHS, Round-Off BHS Back Tuck
ADULT FITNESS CLASSESVariety is the key to long-term fitness commitment. Attention ladies of all ages it is definitely time to take care of yourself! Get ready to get in shape with an exciting workout program that will allow you to safely work at your own level. Forget about those infomercials! K.O. has the most creative excercises, classes and trainers around! See below for the various classes throughout the week. Never having the opportunity to get bored or think about the stresses of the day you will creatively excercise, have fun and make new friends. K.O. Trainers will help you with your form and technique while keeping you motivated. See "K.O. Trainer Qualifications". Lorissa Ridley-Fink, founder and CEO of K.O. Boxing Inc., and Athletic Trainer since 1985, welcomes you to work at your own level in a safe and comfortable environment. Many of the students in this class have been with Coach L since she brought her fitness program to Manhattan, KS in 1999.
